Honey

Honey is the sweet, gooey liquid made by bees from the pollen they collect from flowers. The color, smell and taste of the honey all depend on where it comes from in the world! Honey has been used for thousands of years in hair care and skincare. Legend has it that Cleopatra bathed in a mixture of honey and milk to soften her skin! Our honey comes from a variety of sources including Zambia, Canada, Hungary, Greece and, of course, Great Britain! It our aim to produce more of our own honey in the UK.

What does it do?

- Honey is a natural preservative, keeping products fresher for longer.

- Honey is antiseptic/antibacterial, helping keep the skin clean, reducing the possibility of infection.

- Honey is antioxidant, making it a good skin healer. Honey is often used to treat acne prone skin.

- Honey is a natural humectant, meaning it gently retains the natural moisture in skin and hair.
